Roxanne is on a mission to both enlighten and engage her audience. She holds the belief that not everyone possesses the means or resources to surmount challenging circumstances, and many may be unaware of how past relationships, or their absence, can significantly impact their future choices.

In our individual narratives lies a wealth of learning opportunities. When we encounter individuals who have triumphed over challenges we currently face, we instinctively seek their guidance, wisdom, and understanding. These individuals serve as mirrors reflecting what could be if we could resolve the issues hindering our progress. We turn to them because, deep down, we recognize that something within us is amiss; something is not functioning as it should. In our moments of unrest, we yearn for the support of someone who comprehends our struggles.

Roxanne, having experienced a tumultuous upbringing, empathizes with such struggles. Separated from her parents at the age of four due to their inability to provide for her, she endured the loss of her mother to a suicidal drug overdose. Roxanne faced the challenges of being a runaway teen and a victim of domestic violence. Despite becoming a mother at 19, marrying at 21, and divorcing at 23, she navigated the complexities of parenthood and education. Juggling the responsibilities of raising children, completing her Associates, bachelor's, and master's degrees in quick succession, Roxanne delved into the study of human behavior. Her master's project resulted in a book titled "An Affective Way to Overcome Abandonment Issues," stemming from her personal quest to understand and overcome emotional barriers hindering her progress in various aspects of life.

Roxanne's journey continued with the publication of eight more books, including the best-seller "Love Said Fuck You Too." Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Communication at Georgia State University, she manages to balance academia with parenting and teaching Public Speaking at Atlanta Technical College and Georgia State University.

Roxanne's academic pursuits are not merely a means to a job; rather, they serve as a foundation for her mission to help individuals reach their fullest potential. Her undergraduate degree focused on communications and theater, equipping her with the skills to connect with people and build relationships. The master's degree concentrated on Social & Psychological Educational Foundations, Higher Education (with a counseling focus), and Creative Studies. Her Ph.D. centers on Public Communication, emphasizing a commitment to understanding diverse cultures, genders, and statuses. Her ultimate goal is to create programs that inspire positive change and growth in individuals from all walks of life.
